INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT - ANTANANARIVO
Arrival with international flight. Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Registration. During the night
The "Wild West".
As soon as one speaks of the western part of Madagascar, one already imagines the Tsingy of Bemara which is a national park classified as a UNESCO heritage site. There are also the dry forests of Kirindy and Kirindy Mite to the north and south of Morondava with its famous Fosa and lemurs, including the world's smallest lemur. The famous baobab alley and its three species. MAKAY, a hiker's paradise. The beaches of Belo su mer, Andavadoaka, Salary to Mangily southwards along the west coast...
Day 2
ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRABE
Morning drive to Antsirabe. Stop at Ambatolampy and visit of an aluminium and pot workshop. Lunch and continuation to destination. Dinner one night
Day 3
ANTSIRABE – MORONDAVA
After breakfast, 8 hours drive to Morondava. A few stops along the way to see the landscape from a different angle. Lunch en route. Passing through villages of gold miners and large rivers. Arrival at the end of the afternoon, sunset in the baobab alley, then drive to the hotel. Registration. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 4
MORONDAVA – KIRINDY
Morning drive to Kirindy of about 2h30, passing by the baobab alley and the sacred baobab. On arrival, check in and visit of the reserve, to spot 2 species of day lemurs, birds, mammals and reptiles, and flora (and precious woods, medicinal plants). After the visit we return to the lodge for lunch. If you are lucky, you may see the famous "fosa". Later, go for a night walk in search of nocturnal lemurs, nocturnal reptiles. It is the largest carnivore in Madagascar. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 5
KIRINDY – MORONDAVA
Return to Morondava, visit of the baobab in love. Then continue to the hotel. Registration. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6
MORONDAVA – ANTSIRABE
Return to Antsirabe. Lunch at Miandrivazo, then continuation to destination. On arrival, check-in. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 7
ANTSIRABE – ANTANANARIVO
After breakfast, return to Antananarivo, 4 hours drive. Visit the artisanal market to buy souvenirs. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8
ANTANANARIVO - INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
Transfer to the airport according to flight schedule. End of the programme.
