INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT – TANANANRIVE
Reception at the airport of Tananarive on arrival. Then transfer to the hotel
The Big North
The North is made up of discoveries of the National Park of Ankarafantsika where we find lemurs, reptiles, and also favourable to ornithology, then we continue towards the cave of Anjohibe and the waterfall of Mahafanina a little more in the west. The cocoa plantation of Ambanja and the tsingy of Ankarana, the red tsingy, the PN of the Amber Mountain as well as the three bays of Diego Suarez are among the must-sees of the North. Choice of leisure activities at the beach of Ramena or on the island of Nosybe and its surrounding peninsulas with different possibilities of activities such as whale watching, fishing...

DAY 2
TANANARIVE – MAJUNGA
Departure from Tana (near Ivato) to Majunga with some stops along the way for lunch in Maevatanana. We pass by the national park of Ankarafantsika before arriving at the town of Majuna. Installation at the hotel upon arrival in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3
MAJUNGA – ANTSANITIA
Breakfast at the hotel, then city tour to see the port with the dhows, the baobab, the cathedral of Majunga, the market of Mahabibo, the Corniche, etc...Then we continue our journey until the red circus. Back to the city for lunch then we take back the 4x4 and continue the road to Antsanitia. Dinner and night.
DAY 4
ANTSANITIA
Going up the Morira river from Antsanitia to the village of Ladigy. Going up the Morira river from Antsanitia to the village of Ladigy. The visit of the village is done with its chief who will introduce you to the village community, a picnic lunch is organized. In the afternoon: crossing of the river and continuation of the excursion in 4x4, or in Zebu cart towards the sacred Lake Mangatsa and return to Antsanitia. Dinner and overnight stay
DAY 5
ANTSANITIA – ANKARAFANTSIKA
After the breakfast, road for Ankarafantsika while passing by the city of Majunga, then we take again the RN4 to join the national park. Installation on arrival, then nocturnal visit in the evening which allows us to meet small nocturnal mammals, reptiles and night birds with a local guide. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 6
ANKARAFANTSIKA
Morning of visit in the national park of Ankarafantsika for the circuit Coquerelli which allows us to discover several varieties of lemurs. Lunch then boat ride on Lake Ravelobe, a sacred lake allowing to observe a variety of birds, and crocodiles in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 7
ANKARAFANTSIKA – ANTSOHIHY
We leave the national park of Ankarafantsika on the RN4 to join the city of Antsohihy on the RN6. Passing through many small towns like Ambondromamy, Mampikony and Port Berger with a picnic lunch on the way. On arrival, installation at the hotel and rest of the day free.
DAY 8
ANTSOHIHY – ANKARANA
Departure from Antsohihy to Ankarana on the RN6 passing by the city of Ambanja where we visit the plantation of cocoa, vanilla, coffee .... Lunch en route. Arrival in the afternoon. Installation at the hotel and rest of the day free. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 9
ANKARANA
Day of visit of the national park of Ankarana. We begin by the sacred cave of the sauves mice which shelters splendid stalactites and stalagmites (Provide a flashlight). Provide also a picnic lunch, then visit the part of Tsingy rary, the turrets of tsingy with the help of a park guide. After the visit, return to the hotel. . Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 10
ANKARANA – MONTAGNE D’AMBRE
Departure from the Ankarana National Park to Joffre city with a visit of the Red Tsingy, result of the erosion that has sculpted over time, these colorful and phantasmagorical forms, unique in Madagascar. Then, we continue the road towards the north until Joffre city on the mountain of Amber. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 11
MOUNTAIN OF AMBER - DIEGO
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Montagne d'Ambre National Park which is located in the heart of a volcanic region. Created in 1958, a magnificent protected tropical forest on the flank and summit of the mountain. Meet different species of lemurs and chameleons including the smallest in the world (Brokesia minima) and its various forms of vegetation: Canarium, ficus, orchids ... Back to the hotel after the visit for lunch then continue to Diego. Installation on arrival. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 12
DIEGO – RAMENA
Excursion by car to the 3 bays (Sakalava Bay, Dunes Bay and Pigeons Bay). Picnic lunch at Cap Mine then return to the hotel overlooking the large bay at the French Mountains. After the visit, we leave Diego Suarez for Ramena on the beautiful beach. Installation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 13
RAMENA
Morning excursion by boat to the "Emerald Sea", as its name indicates it is a part of a lagoon with the color of the emerald. Picnic lunch during the visit then return to Ramena in the afternoon. Rest of the day free on the beautiful beach.
DAY 14
RAMENA – DIEGO – TANANARIVE
We leave Ramena to reach the big city of Diego. On arrival, transfer directly to the airport to take the return flight to Tananarive. End of the program
