South Madagascar is for adventurers: steep mountains, arid landscapes, and amazing views. Here you'll find the second-largest Zebu market in the country; the 2658-meter summit of Mt. Imarivolanitra in Andringitra National Park; and the stark beauty of sunset over the rock cliffs in Isalo National Park. Relax at the beaches of Anakao and Ambola and track radiata tortises through the cacti at Fort Dauphin. The scenery of the south will take your breath away.

Day 1

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT - ANTANANARIVO

Welcome and pick up by the team at the airport. Assistance with the possibility of making an exchange. Then transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE

Reception at the hotel then departure directly for Andasibe NP by the RN2 for about 5 hours with a stop en route for a short visit to the "Peyrieras Reserve" to see several genera and species among the reptile class. Continuation to the Lemur Kingdom. On arrival, check-in at the hotel, lunch then free afternoon before a night walk to observe some nocturnal lemurs, reptiles, chameleons, ... with a local guide. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

ANDASIBE

Morning walk in the Perinet reserve to discover other species of diurnal lemurs. Be prepared to see the famous Indri Indri, the largest lemur species in the world. Many different species of wildlife can also be encountered during the walk. After the visit, return to the hotel for lunch, then visit in the afternoon the lemur island and the reptile farm of the private reserve of Vakona. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4

ANDASIBE – ANTANANARIVO

Return to Antananarivo for about 5 hours drive. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

ANTANANARIVO – TOLIARY – IFATY

After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the airport to catch the domestic flight to Toliary. Lunch then visit the reserve of Reniala for the thorny forests. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

IFATY- TOLIARY- ANAKAO

After breakfast, transfer to Toliary to take a fast boat to Anakao. Check-in on arrival. Lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 - 8

ANAKAO

Two days of leisure with the possibility of doing the activities organised by the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9

ANAKAO- TOLIARY- ZOMBITSE – RANOHIRA

Welcome at the port of Toliary and direct route to Ranohira. Stop at Zombitse National Park to see lemurs active during the day and some birds. Lunch en route. Check-in on arrival. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10

RANOHIRA

Day dedicated to the exploration of the Isalo National Park. Meeting with the guide and drive to the Isalo National Park for the pool and the Namazà canyon where you might see wild animals. Later, drive to the windows of the Isalo for a magnificent sunset. Return to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11

RANOHIRA – FIANARANTSOA

After breakfast, full day drive to Fianarantsoa, about 6 hours. Possibility to make a stop on the way. On arrival, a short tour of the city before checking into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12

FIANARANTSOA - RANOMAFANA

After breakfast, early departure for Ranomafana National Park. On arrival at the park entrance, meet the local guide and start the walk. Transfer to the hotel after the tour, check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, possibility to visit the village of Ranomafana before starting a night walk to see some nocturnal lemurs, chameleons, reptiles... Return to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13

RANOMAFANA – ANSIRABE

After breakfast, direct route to Antsirabe. Possibility to make a stop in Ambositra for woodcarving. Lunch en route. Check-in on arrival. Dinner and overnight stay.
