Welcoming by Terremad team on arrival. With the help of the guide, one can exchange money, buying sim card at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check in, dinner and overnight.

Leaving the Capital to head to Antsirabe. On the way, short stops to enjoy the landscape: farm land, terracing rice fields, traditional Malagasy houses. Arrival at Antsirabe around noon. Lunch, then transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight.

Drive to the small town of Betafo for about an hour. Here, we live the car and start to walk. Three hours walk through this farmer village allows you to be in touch with local people and also to see their daily life. At the same time, we are also learning some histories and cultures. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the two famous lakes of Antsirabe which are both crater lakes. On the second lake, we will have 45 minutes’ walk to know the hidden story that makes it sacred. Back to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight.

Day to link Antsirabe and Ranomafana. Lunch at the town of Ambositra. This town is also the capital of the woodcarvings of the country. Take lunch then continue the drive during the afternoon. Arrival in the evening, check in. Dinner and overnight.

A whole morning dedicated to explore Ranomafana National Park. Drive up to the park entrance to meet our local guide. The hike gives us an opportunity to see the beauty of the forest as well as some rare endemic lemurs such as: Milne Edward’s Sifaka, Golden bamboo lemurs… Lunch after the visit. Afternoon free with a possibility to have a short walk around the town. In the evening, meet the guide for an evening walk to meet some more wildlife (mouse lemur, chameleons, and frogs, sleeping birsds…). The walk lasts one hour. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Leave Ranomafana after breakfast and head to the South. We will pass by the city of Fianarantsoa known as the most religious city of Madagascar. There is a possibility to have a short walk in the famous old town before continuing the trip. Stop at Ambalavao to see some workshop (silk, paper making…). Lunch before being back on the road. The last part of the journey during the afternoon is on a dirt road. Check-in on arrival. Dinner and overnight.

Meet the local guide after breakfast and start the hike. Today, we are going to climb the Chameleon peak by passing through the sacred forest where we may have the chance to see some ring-tailed lemurs. Continue the ascent with some short stops on the way. Once on the top, we will have a stunning view of the valley and its farmland. Lunch, then walk down to the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Leave Camp Catta in the morning to continue the journey to the South. Stop at the town of Ihosy for lunch. From there, about 2 hours drive to get to Ranohira. Arrrival in the afternoon. Check-in. Dinner and overnight.

One full day to explore the beautiful sandstone mountain of Isalo. During the walk, we will have a stop at the first natural swimming pool. Then move to the view point that gives an angle of 360 degree. Continue the walk to reach the canyon of Namaza, where we will have our lunch break and where also we may have chance to see some species of lemurs (Ring-tailed, Sifaka and brown lemurs). After lunch, afternoon walk inside the canyon to get to the two other natural swimming pools which are: the blue and black pool. Back to the hotel after the visit. Dinner and overnight.

Leaving Ranohira in the morning and head to Ifaty. Passing by the town of Ilakaka known for its deposit of gem stones. And driving thought the dry deciduous forest of Zombitse. Lunch at the town of Tulear, then one hour drive to Ifaty. Check-in at the hotel. Free afternoon on the seaside. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer to the airport of Toliary to catch the domestic flight back to Antananarivo. Meet and pick up on arrival. City tour and visit of the famous Queen’s Palace before the transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer to the airport of Antananarivo to catch the international flight. Stop at the handcraft market on the way to buy some souvenirs. END OF PROGRAM.
