DAY 1

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT - ANTANANARIVO

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2

ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE

Welcome at the hotel then drive to Andasibe for about 4 hours. Stop at Mandraka for a short visit to the "Peyrieras Reserve" to see several genera and species among the reptile class. Then, continuation to the destination. Check-in on arrival, lunch and then visit the lemur island and reptile farms in the afternoon. Later, a night walk to observe nocturnal lemurs, reptiles, chameleons, ... with a local guide.

DAY 3

ANDASIBE

In the morning, drive to the reserve, start hiking in the primary forest, looking for the largest species of Sifaka, crested lemurs and other wildlife. Picnic lunch then drive to the reserve of Vohimana for a 3 hours visit in search of lemurs and birds. Return to the hotel after the visit.

DAY 4

ANDASIBE – ANTANANARIVO

After breakfast, visit the VOI MMA community reserve to discover other species of diurnal lemurs, including the famous Indri Indri. One can also meet many species of wild animals during the walk. After the visit, lunch then return to Antananarivo. Check-in upon arrival,

DAY 5

ANTANANARIVO – MORONDAVA – KIRINDY

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Morondava. Reception on arrival, then direct route to Kirindy through the alley of baobabs. Stop at the baobab of the lover before continuing to the destination. Check-in on arrival, before the evening walk in the forest to see several species of nocturnal lemurs and some reptiles.

DAY 6

KIRINDY – BEKOPAKA

Morning guided walk in the dry forest to observe the two species of day lemurs, birds and learn about the flora of this dry forest. This reserve offers the possibility to meet the Fosa (known as the largest carnivore of the island) in the wild. After the visit, take the road to Bekopaka, cross the Tsiribihina River with a ferry before arriving in the town of Belo for lunch. Continue driving through the forest and savannah in the afternoon to Bekopaka. At the arrival, check-in.

DAY 7

TSINGY DE BEMARAHA NATIONAL PARK

Day dedicated to the visit of the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park with a local guide. Departure from the hotel in the morning for the Manambolo river (pirogue ride), boarding on pirogue to go back to the river through the Bemaraha Gorges in order to visit different caves and Vazimba tombs. After this 1st part, direct road towards Andamozavaky at 17 km from the village of Manambolo for a hike in the site called Big Tsingy (hike during approximately 4 hours). The itineraries are arranged with steps, safety cable, bridge... to be easy throughout the discovery. Return to the hotel.

DAY 8

BEKOPAKA – MORONDAVA

Full day back to Morondava by crossing the Tsiribihina river again after having lunch in the town of Belo / Tsiribihina. We continue during the afternoon and we sometimes stop to take pictures. Stop at the baobab avenue to see the sunset. After that, continue to the destination.

DAY 9

MORONDAVA - ANTSIRABE

Departure day from Morondava and drive to Antsirabe for about 9 hours. Stop en route for a short break and lunch then continue to the destination. Upon arrival, possibility to take a small tour of the city before transferring to the hotel.

DAY 10

ANTSIRABE – AMBOSITRA – RANOMAFANA

Drive to Ranomafana NP along the RN7 with lunch en route. You will make a short visit to see and buy the famous wooden sculptures originally made by the Zafimaniry people and many other handicrafts in Ambositra. Then continuation to the destination in the afternoon. Check-in on arrival before an evening walk to see nocturnal lemurs, frogs and different kinds of chameleons.

DAY 11

RANOMAFANA

Meet at the park entrance from the hotel in the morning, meet the local guide and start the hike to explore the nature. This park has twelve species of lemurs, a large number of endemic birds, reptiles and amphibians. The hike will last about 4 hours, then return to the hotel for lunch and the afternoon will be free. You can go down to the village and take a bath in the thermal pool.

DAY 12

RANOMAFANA – RANOHIRA

Departure in the morning from Ranomafana National Park to Ranohira. Passage by the big city of Fianarantsoa, then Ambalavao for a visit of the local paper factory Antemoro. A few minutes away, a short walk to the reserve of Anjà to see some groups of ring-tailed lemurs, chameleons, birds. Later, the spectacular landscapes of the Andringitra massif appear on the left, which means that you enter the region of the Great South.

DAY 13

: ISALO NATIONAL PARK

Full day excursion in the Isalo National Park, you will start by car to reach the village of Ranohira from the hotel. After meeting the local guide, you will go to the lower slope of the massif to start the excursion to the natural pool and continue to the Namaza canyon for a big loop. A lunch basket will be taken inside the park at the campsite of Namazà which is a beautiful shelter for lemurs, birds ... road to the "window of Isalo" to photograph the sunset then return to the hotel after the visit.

DAY 14

RANOHIRA – TULEAR

Departure from Isalo NP to Tulear on the southwest coast. Passage through Ilakaka and other sapphire mining towns. Stop at Zombitse Vohibasia National Park en route for bird watching. Then continuation to the destination. Check-in on arrival and rest of the day free.

DAY 15

TULEAR – ANTANANARIVO

Free morning before the transfer to the airport to take the flight to Antananarivo. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival.

DAY 16

ANTANANARIVO – DIEGO SUAREZ – AMBER MOUNTAIN

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Diego. On arrival, welcome and direct drive to Joffre. Day dedicated to the exploration of the national park of the Mountain of Amber. This park is home to various species of mammals and reptiles native to the North. Among them, the famous "crowned lemur" or "Brookesia".

DAY 17

AMBER MOUNTAIN – RED TSINGY – ANKARANA

Start driving south in the morning. After a few hours, leave the main road to join a small off-road track. This is the way to the "Red Tsingy". Hidden in the bush, it is a unique landscape resulting from the erosion of limestone. Picnic lunch. After the visit, return to the main road and continue to Ankarana. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

DAY 18

ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK

Full day of hiking in this limestone forest, at 206 m of altitude, we can see many different and amazing landscapes in this park. Few trails to choose from, giving you the chance to see underground caves and canyons, breathtaking views from the top and rare endemic wildlife.

DAY 19

ANKARANA – RAMENA – 3 BAIES

In the morning, road from Ankarana to Ramena, passing by Diego. Get ready for an excursion to see the "3 bays" of Diego Suarez. Free time at the beach before check-in at the hotel.
